    1. I want to revisit my old army base in Vinh Long. Just want to see what is still there, maybe some pictures? Avionics and door gunner, 1965. How do I do that? Thanks, Ron Rowland

  2. – As a Vietnam veteran with two close friends, both whom are members of my church, who each spent more than five years at the Hanoi Hilton, I take umbrage with the short shrift taken with the contribution of Carole Hickerson and her husband, Commander James M. (Jim) Hickerson with the creation of the POW/MIA flag.
Although Carole did not physically make the flag, she did design the image. Please google them both.
BTW, Carole Hickerson was also instrumental in starting the POW/MIA bracelet program.
Maybe you can include their painful, heroic, patriotic and, eventually, gloriously romantic story in your writing. Maybe even while they’re still alive. Semper Fi! 🌴
