I came across some archived editions of the Tropic Lightning News, the weekly publication for the 25th Division in Vietnam, while surfing the internet. This weekly tabloid published articles about all kinds of interesting news around the division. Several issues were always delivered to units in the field on every resupply – these newspapers were special treasures, passed around for all to read. It was a way of communicating the happenings within the Division to all the units, where ever they are in country.
