My favorite Vietnam Veteran Web Site is right there! As far as “Cherries” goes, I have compared it to similar genre, e,g,; Don Bodey’s “F.N.G” and Bob Miller’s “The Newbe,.” While in their own right both Don and Bob wrote enthralling novels quite entertaining, neither took hold of me, completely captivating me like “Cherries.” Until I finished it, I could not think nor did I want to do anything else. This book sets the standards….it’s THAT GOOD!!!!! “Cherries” is hands down a “must read!”
